Due to concerns around COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this summer’s Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest, which was scheduled for Aug. 14-16. We look forward to the 2021 festival, scheduled for Aug. 13-15.
This annual festival is one of our favorite ways to celebrate and build community around music. As disappointing as it is to cancel, we need to prioritize the health and safety of artists, fans, employees, volunteers and partners. We know that it is in the best interest of the community to do what we can to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Too much is unknown to continue to prepare for this event. Because this community festival takes months to plan and hundreds of people to coordinate, we made this difficult choice based on the information we have today.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Thursday Night Live concert series will not start on May 28 as originally scheduled. Bohemian Nights is closely monitoring developments and following recommendations regarding coronavirus. If the concert series proceeds later in the summer, announcements will be made through Bohemian Nights’ mobile app, here on the website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Bohemian Nights shares the gift of live Colorado music with the Northern Colorado community. Bohemian Nights exposes community members to new, emerging and established Colorado artists; reveals Fort Collins as a music city; and shares the gift of live music with the community. Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is a free, three-day music festival held each August in historic downtown Fort Collins.
Bohemian Nights Presents Thursday Night Live is a series of free summer concerts in Old Town Fort Collins each Thursday. Updates about the status of the summer 2020 Thursday Night Live concert series will be provided on the website, on the Bohemian Nights mobile app and on social media.
