Attendants assist bands in finding convenient parking spaces, inform bands about the Instrument Check-In area, and answer other logistical questions. Check-In Attendants also help with Instrument Check-In.

Volunteers greet the artist pulling up to unload, help them get their gear to the stage, as well as kindly remind them that once their gear is loaded their cars can be parked back at the Artist Check-in area.

Malini Bartels “I feel that volunteering for a festival you really enjoy is the closest you can come to being a part of the action, aside from being an artist and performing on stage. I enjoy knowing the ins-and-outs of certain aspects of the festival and having people stop me to ask questions, or to just say ‘thanks for helping.’

I love working backstage and I have had the privilege of being behind the scenes at the Mountain Stage right before headliners have started playing. The energy, the excitement and the sheer star power really give me an adrenaline rush and I absolutely love it! I'm so proud to have a festival like Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest in my community. Some of my favorite festival memories are from being "in the thick of it.’”

Matt Brooksmith “I enjoy watching the transformation of Old Town and all the vendors setting up on Friday morning. Everyone is excited for the festival and I love meeting other volunteers from our community. I LOVE live music, and the generosity of Bohemian Nights to work year round to put on a FREE festival is why I want to do what I can to make sure the festival remains free and accessible to everyone.”
