Bohemian Nights
FAQ's

What is new at Bohemian Nights this year?

• In an attempt to do our part to sustain the environment, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest will work with Zero Hero and Gallegos Sanitation to use biodiesel in generators, recycle plastic, aluminum and paper products, and compost organic refuse and trash. Festival vendors, production crews, volunteers and staff will be educated on green policies and practices prior to the event. Recycling areas will be located throughout the festival with recycling assistants on hand to aid the public with greening efforts. Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is also encouraging the use of alternative transportation to and from the festival

• Additionally, the stage that was formerly on Chestnut Street has been moved to Walnut Street, just around the corner. At the Walnut Stage, we will also be providing a tent for concert goers who wish to enjoy some Colorado music in the shade.

• Now in its third year, Kids’ Music Adventure has grown again this year with the addition of more vendors offering FREE and interactive music experiences for children. Please visit the Kids’ Music Adventure page for all of the exciting details!

Can I bring my pet?

We STRONGLY DISCOURAGE people from bringing pets to the festival. Large, tight crowds are often common at the festival. Pets can easily get trampled and/or dehydrated and some people are highly uncomfortable with other people’s beloved animals around them. You may be asked to leave the festival if you bring your pet. For everyone’s sake, (human and animal) please DO NOT bring your pet(s) to the festival.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

We ask that you please leave your alcohol at home too! Any outside alcohol will be confiscated and not returned to the owner. Beer will be available at two beer gardens in various areas of downtown to people 21 or over, with a valid drivers license. Downtown Map

What if the weather turns bad?

If it rains or we have severe weather, any of the music acts that are cancelled will not be rescheduled. In the event of lightning or hail, please seek appropriate shelter.

What if I need additional information or lose something?

Two booths will be available to assist with festival information and lost-and-found items. They are located at the intersections of Oak and Mathews Street, Mountain Avenue and Mathews Street, and in Kids’ World on the south side of Library Park. Downtown Map
