Going into its fourth year, the wildly successful and engaging Kids’ Music Adventure (KMA) is designed to interactively expose children to music and its inspirational qualities! Focusing on primary school age children, KMA is totally FREE and open from 11 am to 5 pm Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16. KMA hosts an instrument petting zoo, 6 kid-friendly special performances suited for children grades K-6 and hands on music workshops supplied by local not for profit and for profit music organizations. The 2009 Kids’ Music Adventure will most certainly be a family experience to remember. A great time for kids and parents alike - where kids of all abilities can discover the magic of music!

Music workshops will occur throughout Saturday and Sunday and will offer a variety of fun and creative activities for kids to participate in before, after, and between performances. Kids will learn how to make their own music or even become part of a rock band! They can learn all about the science of sound and how it comes together to create such a large range of music. Come join the fun in these and other great, interactive music workshops!
A complete schedule of all activities and details will be posted soon, as well as available on site at the festival in the entertainment guide. Sign up for our email newsletters and be the first to hear about new updates to the lineup and workshops!
